It was a big weekend for Gove competitors at the NT Lifesaving Championships last weekend.

At Mindle Beach on Saturday morning Gove teams competed in the Open Patrol Competition. Fielding two teams the "Gove A" team defended their title from last year, making it three in a row. The win qualifies the them take on the Open Patrol Competition at the Aussies next year.

Fourth place by the "Gove B" team was a massive effort as they were the only team in the competition to be entirely made up of Under 17 competitors. The result qualifies them to take on the U17 Patrol Competition at the Aussies next year.

On Saturday afternoon Gove took out the First Aid Competition going one better than their result last year.

On Sunday morning the team backed up at Casuarina Pool for the NT Pool Lifesaving Championships. There were stacks of great individual and team results. The lead the team build up in the points tally will get carried over into NT Surf Titles at the end of September.
