Call for 2014 patrol members

posted 24 Mar 2014, 16:25 by Kristy Prowse

GPSLSC needs to ascertain what our potential patrol strength will be this year.

Could all interested past, present and able body patrolling members, meet at the Club @ 6pm Friday the 28th March.

The aim is to not only work out numbers, but numbers of patrols, frequency of patrols, etc.  You all will have an opportunity to voice any suggestions and or any concerns. Consider this a patrol sign on.  Even if you are not able to commit to patrolling, but have a good idea, we would love to hear it.

We need to be thinking outside the box this year, be flexible but always remember our primary responsibility is safety - to our patrolling members, nippers and the public.  Come on down, have a say, have a refreshment and we can start the season off with optimism and enthusiasm.

See you there, Bernie Whelan. Club Captain 2014"

Happy New Year. Thanks to all our members and supporters for a huge 2013 - finishing the new shed, hosting the NT titles and much, much more.

The new year is bringing big changes for the town and the club but we're committed to continuing to provide safe beaches and a great family focused venue to socialise.
